You'll stay in a restored Portuguese-era heritage home in Panaji for two nights, then move to a peaceful South Goa resort — with a jeep safari to Dudhsagar Falls and a final day of beach time to round it off.
Day by day
Transfer to your heritage home in Panaji. In the late afternoon, join a local guide for a walk through Fontainhas — ochre and indigo houses, azulejo tiles and tiny bakeries.
Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, home to the relics of St Francis Xavier, and the vast Sé Cathedral. Continue to a spice plantation in Ponda for a guided walk and a traditional lunch served on banana leaves.
Jeep safari through Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary to Dudhsagar Falls — at its most dramatic just after the monsoon. Continue to your South Goa resort.
A free day on the quiet beaches of the south. Optional dolphin-spotting boat trip from Palolem or a visit to Cabo de Rama fort.
